Our Leadership
VisumRx was founded by David L. Clark, RPh, MBA,with the intent of fostering effective working relationships amongst payers, providers and the pharmaceutical industry in order to achieve successful clinical, financial and service outcomes for everyone involved in our dynamic and challenging health care delivery system.David brings to the table more than 30 years of industry experience. He has served in leadership positions at Intermountain Health Care and more recently as the President of RegenceRx and Senior Vice President of Regence, where he was responsible for developing numerous programs including a nationally recognized evidence-based medication review program.
During his tenure, David has worked diligently to identify and document innovative practices that are leading the way to better health care management regionally as well as nationally. As a result of his demonstrated business acumen, strength in facilitation and industry success, David has:
- Served as a member of the Effective Healthcare Stakeholder Group under the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ);
- Was a member of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association National Council of Physician Executives;
- Was appointed by HHS to a Medicare Commission responsible for coordinating state pharmaceutical assistance programs with the Medicare prescription drug benefit;
- And is currently serving as the President of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) , an organization which he has been a member of since 1996.
